OAS Research Associates are scholars, researchers, and specialists with long-term professional interests in archaeology, anthropology, and associated disciplines who have made, or are in the process of making, significant contributions to their field of expertise and who wish to continue to make contributions in collaboration with the Office of Archaeological Studies. Charles Hannaford is an OAS Research Associate and has been an archaeologist for 40 years. Charles was a former project director and head of the Education Outreach program at the Office of Archaeological Studies.

Maxine McBrinn is an OAS Research Associate and author and is currently working on the fourth edition of Archaeology of the Southwest.
James Moore
James Moore is an OAS Research Associate and was a former project director and head of the Office of Archaeological Studies’ Chipped Stone Artifact Analysis Laboratory.

Marvin Rowe is an OAS Research Associate and the head of the Office of Archaeological Studies’ Low Energy Plasma Radiocarbon Sampling Laboratory.
