Research Associates

OAS Research Associates are scholars, researchers, and specialists with long-term professional interests in archaeology, anthropology, and associated disciplines who have made, or are in the process of making, significant contributions to their field of expertise and who wish to continue to make contributions in collaboration with the Office of Archaeological Studies. Individuals interested in applying to become an OAS Research Associate should contact Thatcher Seltzer-Rogers.

Bob Florek
Dean Wilson is an OAS Research Associate.

Charles A. Hannaford
Charles Hannaford is an OAS Research Associate and has been an archaeologist for 40 years. Charles was a former project director and head of the Education Outreach program at the Office of Archaeological Studies.

Maxine McBrinn
Maxine McBrinn is an OAS Research Associate and author and is currently working on the fourth edition of Archaeology of the Southwest.

James Moore
James Moore is an OAS Research Associate and was a former project director and head of the Office of Archaeological Studies’ Chipped Stone Artifact Analysis Laboratory.

Marvin Rowe
Marvin Rowe is an OAS Research Associate and the head of the Office of Archaeological Studies’ Low Energy Plasma Radiocarbon Sampling Laboratory.

Sheri Spaar
Sheri Spaar is an OAS Research Associate.

H. Wolcott Toll
Wolky Toll is an OAS Research Associate who continues to work on the La Plata Highway Project. Dr. Toll was also a project director with the Office of Archaeological Studies.

Rob Turner
Rob Turner is an OAS Research Associate, graphic artist, and former director of the Office of Archaeological Studies’ Publications Department.

C. Dean Wilson
Dean Wilson is an OAS Research Associate and the former director of the Office of Archaeological Studies’ Ceramics Analysis Laboratory.
