Chandler Buchfink is a Project Director and the Osteology Laboratory Supervisor for the Office of Archaeological Studies (OAS). He manages the ongoing projects within the Osteology Laboratory at OAS and supervises staff in the inventory and analysis of human and faunal remains. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology from Wichita State University (2022) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology with a minor in Physics from Texas State University (2019). He is a biological anthropologist with interests in osteology and human variation.

When he isn’t at OAS, Chandler enjoys playing video games and board games. His favorite board game to play is Settlers of Catan. Chandler also loves to travel. He has visited almost every country in Europe as well as Egypt while his family was stationed in Germany. Chandler still plans to continue traveling as Australia and Japan are next on his list.
